Saturday, October 4th is World Cardmaking Day! 

 

Please join us for a fabulous day of paper crafting at my home from Noon - 4 p.m.  There will be several great projects for you to make and door prizes too!  We will also be making some Any Hero cards for deployed military personnel that day to support and encourage those so far from home as they fight for our freedom.  I will have a limited selection of retired stamp sets for sale as cash and carry.

Following our paper crafting activities, we will continue celebrating with a barbecue.  There will be burgers on the grill, potato salad, beans and chips.  And what's a party without cake?  After all, we are celebrating World Cardmaking Day!

Fun Fold Birthday

This is a card I made quite some time ago, but don't think I ever posted.  It is a double gate fold card I made for my nephew's birthday.  All the products used in this card are retired now, but it is such a fresh, interactive card, I wanted to share it with you.  Use some of our great new products to create your own.  Hmmm, perhaps I should play with this fold again???  Sorry for the poor lighting in these pictures.

Work of Art Thank You

Today I am sharing a quick and easy card we made at my annual New Catalog Open House this summer.  It features the new stamp set Work of Art and variations on a color theme.  You can put this card together in a flash and vary your choice of colors.  Be as creative as you like!

Paper:  Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White Cardstock
Ink:  Cajun Craze, Crisp Cantalopue,  Calypso Coral, Pumpkin Pie
Other:  Basic Rhinestones

Be You(Tiful) Birthday

I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this card!  The fun design was made using the Envelope Punch Board and Old Olive cardstock.  The DSP is Sweet Taffy and the fabulous, bold flowers are from the Flower Patch Photopolymer stamp set and cut out perfectly with the Flower Fair Framelits.  These two items can be purchased together as a bundle and you save 15%.  This is one of the projects we made in Stamp Club.  If you live near O'Fallon or Union, Missouri, and would like to visit or join one of my clubs, please let me know.  We would love to have you!
