Simply Fabulous!

Here's a simply fabulous card made with the new Magnificent Maple stamp.  The set is a gift for one of my demonstrators who achieved $3,000 in sales.  It's quick and simple, but oh, so lovely, especially for fall.  I made the cute little gift box (also decorated with the Magnificent Maple) from the Envelope Liner Dies and tied with the Burlap Ribbon.  Here is a tutorial from Carol Lovenstein for making the box http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z29W8O4utxw.  Note:  I made this box from the smallest Framelit and adjusted measurements.  My box lid is 5 5/16" square with score lines at 1 3/8" on all sides.

Then, of course, I had to make a matching envelope from the Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper and the brand new, soon to be released Envelope Punch Board!  So very easy to create any size envelope with any paper you like!  And best of all, it's super light, easy to carry and only $19.95.  Pretty cool, huh?

Supplies

Paper Pumpkin is like a mini class delivered right to your door.  The projects are fun and simple--everything is included; all you need is adhesive.  Everything is cut and scored for you, so all you do is assemble.  Special elements are die cut on sticker sheets so you can just peel and stick.  You can follow the directions exactly or mix it up and create your own.  Here is a sample of the first kit you will receive--it even comes with the clear block!  I purposely created 4 different cards than the suggested pattern.  I spiced things up just a pinch by using Tempting Turquoise ink to stamp the greeting since it matched the buttons in the kit.  Then I added a small piece of Baker's Twine in the buttons tied into a bow.  On one card I did not use the included button, but instead used one of the Frosted Finishes Embellishments on page 28 of the Holiday Catalog (132150).  They are absolutely fabulous!!!

So order your Paper Pumpkin Kit today or you may contact me and I will process the registration for you.

These are my creations.  Which one is your favorite?

This was the suggested pattern.

Oh What Fun!

Once again, I used the phrase Oh, What Fun! from a Christmas set in a non-Christmas card.  I just love that phrase!  I made a fun little envelope from the Envelope Liners Framelit with a clear Window Sheet front.  I taped the sides together with Washi Tape and filled it with confetti punched out of Red, Silver, and Champagne Glimmer Paper.  I colored the Silver Glimmer Paper with Bahama Breeze ink and a sponge dauber before punching out the shapes.  (It did make my ink pad a bit glittery.)  Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

Supplies
Stamp:  Christmas Messages p. 34 Holiday Catalog (131790 wood, 131793 clear)
Paper:   Bermuda Bay, Raspberry Ripple, Summer Starfruit, Red, Silver, and Champagne Glimmer Paper, Birthday Basics Designer Series Paper

Chevron Invitation

This is a simple invitation made with the new Chevron Punch and Venetian Romance DSP.  It needs a bit of bling to spice it up, but I wanted to share the simple idea with the Chevron.  I punched the Chevron shape with the new punch on the Very Vanilla paper, then stamped it with Gorgeous Grunge.  I added the sentiment from Christmas Messages in the new Holiday Catalog on an angle at the bottom.  (Think outside the box--it's not just for Christmas!)  Then I punched the Chevron shape out in Calypso Coral paper and adhered them in between the negative image chevron.  Simply adhering the decorated Very Vanilla piece to some Venetian Romance DSP and then to the card base made it simple.  I really think it could use some bling from the Frosted Finishes Embellishments in the Holiday Catalog--perhaps in the bottom right corner.  I would have added it originally, but I wanted to keep it simple and flat for easy mailing.  I also wanted to feature the Chevron as the main focus of the invitation.

To make the chevron point at the bottom of the paper, I used the Diagonal Scoring Plate and the Simply Scored Scoring Tool to draw where the cut needed to be so it would be even.  Then I just placed the score line on the track in my Stampin' Trimmer and gave it a quick slice.  Worked every time!

Supplies
Paper:  Isand Indigo, Very Vanilla, Calypso Coral, Venetian Romance Designer Series Paper
Ink:  Island Indigo, Calypso Coral

Chalk Talk and Modern Medley

This beautiful card is made with the Chalk Talk Stamp Set and Matching Die.  The stark neutral pattern is broken only by a tiny pop of color with a Brights Designer Button adhered with 2 little Glue Dots.  I think the effect is stunning.  This is the swap card I made for a group of my Stamp Club ladies.  Note:  The black detail strips are Basic Black paper, not ribbon.  It is such a classy card, but very quick and easy to assemble.  Please leave me your comments.

Gorgeous Grunge Birthday

Here is a fun card using the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and a bit of the new Season of Style Washi Tape.  This is a great way to utilize a holiday product for everyday cards.  I really enjoyed playing with the new Gorgeous Grunge stamp set in this card.  It made me feel so very creative!  To color the White Baker's Twine, I pressed it into a Coastal Cabana stamp pad with a Stampin' Sponge.

Stamps:  Gorgeous Grunge (130514 wood, 130517 clear); Tag It (130300 wood, 130303 clear), Hello Lovely (130240 wood, 130243 clear), gifts of Kindness (130441 wood, 130444 clear)
Ink:  Calypso Coral, Old Olive, Summer Starfruit, Coastal Cabana
Paper:  Crisp Canteloupe, Whisper White, Coastal Cabana, Silver Glimmer Paper
Embellishment:  Whisper White Baker's Twine (124262)
Cutting Tools:  Stampin' Trimmer (126889), Chalk Talk Framelits (129983), Paper Snips (103579)
Other:  Dimensionals (104430), Glue Dots (103683), Season of Style Washi Tape (132155 Holiday Seasonal Catalog), Stampin' Sponge (101610)

I did another version of this card angling the little arrow and like that much better.  I also used Coastal Cabana Core'dinations paper for the arrow and sanded it to give it a softer appearance--LOVED that look.  (I didn't have the Core'dinations paper when I made the first one.)  And I added a Very Vintage Designer Button that I threaded the Baker's Twine through.  Since I got a smudge of ink on the button, I found it made an interesting color to just dab my sponge with Coastal Cabana ink onto the button.  Please leave me a comment and let me know which one you like better.
