Every Blessing

This is one of the cards we made Saturday at the Christmas Card Sampler Class.  It is actually very simple to create, using the emboss resist technique to make the white sentiment and star show through.  The stamp set is Every Blessing on page 70 of the Annual Catalog.  The only ink you need for this is Night of Navy and Versamark.  White Embossing Powder is used for the sentiment and star.  One single Basic Rhinestone embellishes this lovely card.

I admit the idea for this card is not original.  I found it somewhere on the internet, but don't know the name of the original creator, as her name was not watermarked on the image.  So when I went back to look at the ideas I had saved, I had no way to return to the original website.

Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think of this card.

Among The Branches

This is my very favorite Halloween card for this year!  It was all done with free-hand sponging, no torn masks.  I did use a mask for the moon, though.  The embossing folder is called Woodland and is on page 39 in the Holiday Catalog.  The stamped images are from Among the Branches Photopolymer stamp set, also found on page 39.  These two items can be purchased as a bundle and you save 15% that way!  The Black 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon is in the Annual Catalog on page 159.  To create a new shape for the greeting, I cut it out using the Circles Collection Framelits, then put it in my paper cutter and cut just above and below the sentiment.  I love the new shape it creates!

I was inspired to make this card from Michelle Zindorf, but really wanted to use the stamped image spooky from Among the Branches stamp set.  So this is my version.  You can see her original card here.

Haunt Ya Later Card

This sweet little card is made with the  Haunt Ya Later stamp set on page 48 of the Holiday Catalog.  I also used the adorable Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper and the Spider Web Doilies, both of which can be found on page 47 of the Holiday Catalog.  Those Spider Web Doilies are just so fabulous they are already on backorder, but new shipments are coming in soon.  The back side is white, so you can create a whole new look for your projects.  You can even trim out the center part to make an entirely different look for a card that has nothing to do with spider webs or Halloween.  So place your order for some of these fun Halloween items soon!

What do you think of my sweet little trick or treater?

Haunt Ya Later Treat Bag

Here is a sweet little treat bag made with the Gift Bag Punch Board, Stampin' Write Markers and the Haunt Ya Later stamp set from the Holiday Catalog.  It was so quick and easy to assemble and I just put the sentiment and the cute little witch on the front of the bag with Dimensionals.  The bag is made from White Corrugated Paper on page 148 of the Annual Catalog and striped with a Pumpkin Pie Marker.  The ribbon to tie the bag shut is 1/8" Stitched Black Satin Ribbon on page 159 of the Annual Catalog.  The sentiment was punched out with the Large Oval Punch on page 165 of the Annual Catalog.

Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think of my little Halloween treat bag!
