Stampin' Up! is offering you a $5 coupon for every $50 increment you order from July 7 - 31.  You will receive the coupon via email, but be sure to save it carefully, as lost coupon codes cannot be duplicated.  These coupons can be spent on any product in our current catalog from August 2 - 31, 2016.  There is no limit on the number of coupons you may use.

To shop online, go directly to my online store HERE and when you have finished shopping, click on "view shopping bag."  You will see a box in the lower left corner.  Please paste Host Code CCXEDAVS into the box and click "apply."  Then I will enter your name into a drawing for a FREE gift!  Good luck!

This coincides beautifully with the special offer of the Thoughtful Branches Bundle.  This beautiful bundle is available only from August  2 - 31, 2016.  You may, of course, order just the stamp set or just the Thinlits, but ordering the bundle saves you 10% and you are going to want both the stamp set and the matching Thinlits for sure!

iPhone Birthday Card

Happy 18th birthday to my nephew, Keaton!  This is the fun center step card I made for him.  It's an iPhone!  Thank you to Amanda Bates at The Craft Spa who inspired me to make this adorable card!  You can see her original card here.  You can see I didn't change much!  I really like how it turned out!  I used the Thoughtful Banners stamp set for the sentiments and some retired items for the date at the top and the text bubbles.

I would love to hear your comments!

2016 Open House--A SUCCESS!

The 2016 New Catalog Open House Event was a huge hit with 26 guests in attendance!  The day was filled with games, prizes, make & takes, delicious refreshments, and lots of inspiration.

I would like to share with you a few comments I received via email after the event:

I want to say what an amazing Open House this was for me.  I was blown away by the amount of work you put into doing this for all of us and feel like I should thank you!  So THANK YOU, Susan!!
Sherri S.

I felt the day was perfect - no improvement needed!  Make & Takes were great and easy to do.  You were very well organized and the day flowed perfectly!

I so enjoyed your Open House and meeting you.  Thank you for your gracious hospitality.  I have never done stamping before, so I was very overwhelmed in trying to chose a nice entry point for card making materials.  As I learned, there is A LOT to learn about techniques and materials.  You are a wonderful demonstrator, teacher and hostess.  The sign of a great teacher is when the student comes away feeling success.  I loved your demonstrations and making your sample cards.  I had such a great time with your delightful group of stamping girls!  Thanks for having me.

My favorite part of the day was the Open House itself.  The food is always scrumptious.  Your decorating always presents a party flair and introduces the new products and new colors to great advantage.  I like to peruse the past items that are for sale and the displays of the new products and cards you have already prepared.  One particular item that always pleases me is the color handout sheets of each color family and the In Color families.  I found the Make & Takes interesting with easy to follow instructions.  As much as I enjoyed all these things, they do not compare to the classes and unique techniques that you teach us.

As far as what I am looking for in a Demonstrator, that's easy; just someone who is excited about their business and is ready to help her customers understand the product and the best way to use it.  You definitely showed me that yesterday.  Looking forward to learning new ways to enjoy a hobby I love.
Trudy S.

Here are just a few images from the day.
