Sunflower Gift Card

This is one of the cute cards we made for World Card Making Day.  It's a simple gift card to insert into a bag or box.  The card base itself was made with the Envelope Punch Board.  The dots are from the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder, The flower is from the Beautiful Bunch stamp set and it was punched out with the Fun Flower punch.  The ribbon is Mossy Meadow 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon, and the stamp on the inside is from the Work of Art stamp set.  I CASE'd this card directly from Stampin' Up!  What do you think?

Saturday, October 4th is World Cardmaking Day! 

 

Please join us for a fabulous day of paper crafting at my home from Noon - 4 p.m.  There will be several great projects for you to make and door prizes too!  We will also be making some Any Hero cards for deployed military personnel that day to support and encourage those so far from home as they fight for our freedom.  I will have a limited selection of retired stamp sets for sale as cash and carry.

Following our paper crafting activities, we will continue celebrating with a barbecue.  There will be burgers on the grill, potato salad, beans and chips.  And what's a party without cake?  After all, we are celebrating World Cardmaking Day!

Fun Fold Birthday

This is a card I made quite some time ago, but don't think I ever posted.  It is a double gate fold card I made for my nephew's birthday.  All the products used in this card are retired now, but it is such a fresh, interactive card, I wanted to share it with you.  Use some of our great new products to create your own.  Hmmm, perhaps I should play with this fold again???  Sorry for the poor lighting in these pictures.
