Everyone was hard at work concentrating on lining up stamps with the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig, sponging, punching, and layering. They couldn't even take time to look at the camera and smile! The finished product was excellent! I will post the cards we made in the next few days. You can see one sample standing up on the table in the last photo.
I will share with you the swap card that I made. It is simple, yet elegant. I like the rich color combination of Midnight Muse and Cajun Craze, softened with the Vellum overlay. I ran the Vellum Cardstock through the Big Shot with the Pretty Print Embossing Folder for an elegant touch. (My Big Shot gets an awful lot of use around here!) The leaf was stamped using the two-step stamping technique and, of course, the use of my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig, then cut out with my Paper Snips. The sentiment was attached with Liquid Tombow. I just put tiny dots of the glue all over the back of the letters and pressed them on the Vellum. They adhered beautifully! Liquid Tombow is a great glue with a super firm hold, and it goes a very long way!
