Here is a lovely poinsettia in a very non-traditional color, but oh, it does have some beautiful impact! Thanks to Beth Beard at
www.mylittlecraftblog.com for the wonderful inspiration! Beth does lovely work, and I CASED this card exactly from her. That is very rare for me. I often CASE cards, but usually tweak them to create a different finished product. This card was perfect for me just the way it was and we used it, along with another one I will post tomorrow, for a Stamp Club project. They were both a big hit!
It was simple to emboss the greeting and the poinsettia in silver on Bermuda Bay card stock, then cut out the poinsettias and layer them together with Dimensionals. Be sure to use your Embossing Buddy on the Bermuda Bay card stock to prevent stray pieces of embossing powder from sticking to your card stock. The Silver Foil pieces were also layered together with Dimensionals. Finally, I popped up the double-layer poinsettia with Dimensionals on the embossed Silver Foil piece and glued a Frosted Finishes piece in the center. You can use Liquid Tombow or Glue Dots for this.
POW! Instant impact! I love this card!
