Flowering Fields Sympathy

Sympathy cards are great to have on hand.  This card is an easy one to duplicate to have ready to send.  The flower images are from Flowering Fields from our recent Sale-A-Bration catalog and the sentiment is from Rose Wonder.  The sentiment was also cut out with a die from the Rose Garden Thinlits Dies.  I used Blender Pens to add a bit of color to the main image and then gently kissed each flower with the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush.  Three simple Basic Pearls are the only accent this card needs.

Would you like to make cards like this one?  If you are local to the O'Fallon, Missouri, area, you can join us for Simple Stamping Class on the third Saturday of the month or Stamp Club on the first Friday of the month.  I also have classes in Union, Missouri.  Check my calendar for more details and come stamp with us!

Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think of my card!

Helping Me Grow

Today's card is a simple card made with the Helping Me Grow stamp set and a die from the Rose Garden Thinlits.  A simple accent of 1/8" Gold Ribbon runs across the lower portion of the card.  To give it a subtle shimmer the images are stamped on Shimmery White Cardstock, and the flower centers and stems are lightly colored in with Mint Macaron, Daffodil Delight, and Delightful Dijon Stampin' Write Markers.

I CASEd this card idea from Dawn Bourgette.  You can see her original card HERE.

Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think of this lovely spring card.

Wonderful Happy Birthday!

Today was a wonderful birthday for me and some very lovely cards made by my stamping friends made it extra special.  I would like to share their beautiful work with you.

The beautiful rose card was made by Jan Paulson using Rose Wonder, Timeless Textures, and Botanical Blooms stamp sets, as well as Botanical Builder Framelits Dies and Rose Garden Thinlits Dies.

The birthday candle card was made by Judy Besancenez using the retired Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, retired Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Paper, and I'm not quite sure what set the sentiment is from.

This gorgeous fun fold card was made by Julie Morgan using Birthday Blooms stamp set and Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper.

The fun bathtub card was made by Reenie Watson using the Curvy Corner Trio Punch and retired La-Dee-Da stamp set.

Rose Wonder Sympathy

Here is a lovely card that was fairly simple to make.  I used the Rose Wonder stamp set and markers to color in the rose.  The image is stamped on Watercolor Paper with Archival Black ink, as I was planning to use a watercolor technique, but then decided to try the markers instead.  To make the background a bit more subtle, I lightly sponged Soft Sky ink all around the white space.

This is such a lovely stamp set with a nice variety of sentiments, it is way at the top of my favorites list!  The fact that there are matching dies (Rose Garden Thinlits) makes it an even better value!  If you haven't added these items to your collection yet, order today!  You may shop through my link any time.  Anyone who places an order through me during March gets their name into a drawing for a FREE past Paper Pumpkin kit.

I would love to hear your comments.

Rose Wonder

This is a super simple card that speaks total elegance.  I used Blackberry Bliss Cardstock, Gold Foil Paper, and Gold Embossing Powder to make this single layer card.  I cut out the classic rose shape with the Rose Garden Thinlits Dies and glued it to the card base.  The sentiment from the Rose Wonder stamp set is embossed in gold.

Classic.  Elegant.
