Suite Sayings Wedding Card

Today's card is a lovely wedding card made for Mr. & Mrs. A.J. Stoll.  Heather and A.J. were married on Sunday, which marked the beginning of Forever for them.  Congratulations to a wonderful couple!

The sentiment is stamped from Suite Sayings and the flower image is from Beautiful Bunch, punched out with the matching Fun Flower punch.  Both the Beautiful Bunch stamp set and Fun Flower punch are retiring.  The flower layered in the back was punched out of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.  The drapery fold was created using the Neutrals Color Collection Designer Series Paper in Silver.

I have seen several of these style cards on the internet, but this one was inspired by Connie Babbert.  You can see her original card here.

In The Meadow

Today's card is made with a stamp set called In the Meadow from the Spring Occasions Catalog.  The images in that set are so lovely and peaceful!  I thought this sentiment from Suite Sayings (also in the Spring Occasions Catalog) fit this scene perfectly.

Everything was stamped in Archival Black Ink and color was sponged on using a Sponge Dauber and Blender Pens.  Soft . . .subtle . . .serene.

I got my inspiration for this lovely scene from Stephanie Fischer in Sydney, Australia.  You can see her original card here.  Thanks, Stephanie!

Suite Sayings Easter

A blessed Easter to you!  This is a simple but classy Easter card using Suite Sayings for the sentiment and the Bloomin' Heart Thinlit Die image inside an opening made with the Ovals Collection Framelits.  Using Dimensionals to pop up the Whisper White layer to which the Gold Foil cut image is attached, leaves a nice space between the Gold Foil Paper and the Bermuda Bay layer beneath it, giving interest and dimension to the card.  Just a simple Basic Metal Gold Button adorned with a tiny bow made from 1/8" Gold Ribbon is all the bling this card needs.

Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think of my simple, elegant Easter card.

Timeless Textures

This card was made using the Timeless Textures stamp set.  The sentiment is from Suite Sayings.  Both of these sets are found in the Spring Occasions Catalog.  The ink colors I used were Blackberry Bliss, Delightful Dijon, Mossy Meadow, and Soft Suede.  The card stock is Blackberry Bliss, Delightful Dijon and Whisper White.  After stamping the images on the Whisper White, I very lightly sponged Soft Suede ink on it using a circular motion to soften the harshness of the white.  This helped to give it a more vintage feel.

I just love all these rich jewel tone colors together.  Varying the intensity by stamping off some of the images first helped to create depth to the project without the use of lots of Dimensionals or layers of paper.  I did pop up the Whisper White layer on Dimensionals, though.
